Girls Aloud look to be brushing up on their Biology as they pose in school uniforms bearing a Feltham school crest.

The chart toppers - alongside celebrities like Gary Lineker, Russell Brand, Harry Hill and Fearne Cotton - donned blazers bearing the Feltham Community College crest for the filming of special Red Nose Day charity adverts for Comic Relief.

In the television ads, all the stars - apart from football star Lineker - wear massive red ears called WalkEARS, which will be sold by crisp firm Walkers to make extra cash for this year's Red Nose Day.

Lineker, 46, who is filmed being mocked for his real big ears by teacher Stephen Fry, said it was "very strange" to be back in school uniform.

He added: "I just hope that I and the other people who appeared in the commercial don't let down the colours and badge of Feltham Community College and that together we can help raise a lot of money for Comic Relief. I'll be visiting in person to say thank you later in the month."

More than 1,200 pairs of WalkEARS will be delivered to the college for Red Nose Day on March 16.

To mark the occasion, pupils have planned a dress down' day where they'll wear the big red ears with their own clothes.

Headteacher Gillian Smith said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to support a fantastic cause and have fun at the same time. We wish WalkEARS every success in achieving its goal of raising £1million for Comic Relief this year."

Darren Reed, FCC's top rugby star who also plays for the England under 15s team, said: "I'm looking forward to seeing the funny advert on TV. We're also working on lots of fun ideas to raise money for Red Nose Day."

Since its launch in 1985, Comic Relief has raised over £425million for projects in the UK and Africa.
