Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club has donated more than £23,000 to West Middlesex Hospital's charity, the Mulberry Centre.
Ladies and mens team captains Phoebe Daws and Nigel Hopkinson chose the cancer support charity for the Old Deer Park club to support throughout 2014.
Ms Daws said: "As a trustee of the Mulberry Centre I am well aware of the fantastic work they do supporting people affected by cancer.
"I chose them as our charity to support as, although nearly 500 people living in Richmond currently receive support from the centre, the charity is not as well known in the area as it deserves to be."
Mr Hopkinson went the extra mile for the charity by taking part in the Prudential Ride Surrey 100 cycle challenge, raising a further £1,390.
He said: "The dynamic team at the Mulberry Centre make a real difference to the lives of patients and their families when cancer crash-lands in their lives. "I was delighted to join Phoebe in our year as captains to raise money for such a worthwhile local cause."
