People fled their homes in the early hours of the morning after a fire broke out in a Thai restaurant in East Twickenham.
No one was injured in the fire at Thai upon Thames in Richmond Road, East Twickenham, but two engines from Twickenham fire station attended.
People living in flats above the restaurant were woken up at 3am and left the building after a member of the public called the London Fire Brigade.
A spokesman from Twickenham fire station said: “There was a damaged doorway and the flats had to be evacuated from above.”
The London Ambulance Service was called but did not treat any patients.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
