Visitors to Richmond Park during December can experience a horse and carriage ride while raising funds for autistic young people.
The two hour experience starts with a behind the scenes tour of the stables and refreshments, followed by a meet and greet with the horses before a ride through the park.
Baroness Kramer, who launched the initiative with a special ride through Richmond town centre, said: “What a special winter experience to ride in a horse drawn carriage in the magical setting of Richmond Park.
“It beats modern transport.”
Places are £50 a person, or £195 for the whole carriage, which can hold five people.
The initiative is a fundraising activity for Operation Centaur and the Holly Lodge Centre, in aid of Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning.
