Visitors are invited to uncover hidden treasures at the Museum of Richmond for its 25th anniversary.

To celebrate the landmark event the museum holds an open day, including a presentation of children’s Tudor outfits from the Richmond Society and family workshops where people can create their own Christmas candles inspired by a traditional Victorian Christmas.

Visitors will also be able to meet the museum curator and see some hidden treasures from the collection, including objects from the First World War, early history, social history and textiles.

Throughout the day tea, coffee and cakes will be on sale, children’s activities will be on offer as well as a mystery history raffle.
