PizzaExpress has gone back in time for the new look at its Balham restaurant.

The restaurant has been transformed with monochrome floor tiles, artwork based on photographs of the town centre in the 1920s, with a focus on Bedford Hill, courtesy of Wandsworth Heritage Service. The décor also includes graphic artwork reflecting architectural and decorative features in the area.

A new bar area has been added as well as relaxed eating areas with side chairs and tables and booths with leather banquette seating.

Manager Marco Bellal said: “We love our restaurant’s new look and have a friendly and enthusiastic team who are looking forward to welcoming everyone over a delicious pizza.”
