“Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian.

This journey on the Millenium Falcon will take them to a galaxy far far away and will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
Starring: Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo), Emilia Clarke (QiRa), Paul Bettany, Woody Harrelson (Tobias Beckett), Donald Glover (Lando Calrissian), Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca).

I don’t think I was alone in my disappointment of the last Star Wars sequel- The Last Jedi. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not an anti-Star Wars fan. If anything I really wanted to like this film, especially as we had waited in long anticipation for it to arrive.

However, out of all the most recent Star War stories my favourite has to be Rogue One. This was a stand-alone adventure but still linked to the franchise as a prequel playing out the chapter that was missing from the original (I suppose I have to call the first Movie number three?).

The film had exciting new characters and was more of an action adventure not bogged down in too much unnecessary dialogue. So I have serious high hopes for the SOLO outing. A ‘New Hope’ you might say!

It’s bound to be in safe hands with Director Ron Howard at the helm.
