Forget the Seven Wonders of the World - there are delights on your doorstep waiting to be discovered.

Budding detectives, passionate historians and clue collecting whizzkids are invited to embark on a mission with the team at Elmbridge Museum.

Should you wish to accept the challenge, the quest will uncover hidden treasures from Elmbridge Museum’s collection and give children the change to find out more about the history of the borough.

Councillor Mary Sheldon, portfolio holder for leisure and culture, said: "What better way for children to find out about local history than a scavenger hunt?

"The family fun events organised by the museum team are an engaging and exciting way to unravel the historical mysteries and curiosities of the borough."

The scavenger hunt, which costs £1.50 per child, takes place at Leisure Live at Churchfields Recreation Ground, Weybridge on Saturday, June 23 from 11am to 4pm.
