The Landmark Midsummer Art Fair in Teddington is now a well-established venue for contemporary artists and makers. But perhaps less well known is the opportunity afforded to emerging artists to exhibit as part of The Landmark Launchpad.

This year Gill Smith, a local artist based in Hampton Hill, has brought together a group of fellow and recently graduated MA Printmaking students from Camberwell College of Arts, under the MATRIX collective she established in 2013.

Gill says: "This is a great opportunity to showcase a range of contemporary printmaking techniques. As well as some of the more traditional printmaking methods, we will be showing digital works, printing on gel and ceramics and my own speciality, the use of digital laser technology."

Gill was introduced to printmaking at Richmond Adult Community College and will be graduating this summer from Camberwell after completing her MA in Printmaking.

The MATRIX#2 exhibition will be on show in the Foyer and Bell Room throughout the Fair. The Fair and exhibition opens with a Private View on Friday 20th June and is open to the public on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June.

Exhibiting artists in MATRIX#2 include: Jude Cowan Montague, Andy Gashe, Mariwan Jalal, Valeriya N-Georg, Jane Saotome and Gill Smith.
