Writers from the fields of fiction, politics, poetry, science, history and more will descend on Dulwich in November.

Dulwich Literary Festival will be bigger than ever when it returns for its third year from November 11 to 13.

For politicos, Dame Margaret Hodge in discussion with Harriet Harman and Nick Clegg chatting to Ken Clarke are events not to be missed.

Science writer Adam Rutherford will discuss genetics and his new book A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived while there are also appearances from poet Kei Miller and novelist Joanna Trollope.

A children’s programme is headlined by Matt Haig, who presents his new story The Girl Who Saved Christmas.

The festival is presented by Dulwich Books, with events being held at a number of venues at Dulwich College, including the Great Hall, the Old Library and the new George Farha auditorium.

Early bird weekend tickets are on sale from September 26 and all other tickets are available from October 3. Go to dulwichliteraryfestival.co.uk
