LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON Provision and Removal of Disabled Persons Parking Places THE MERTON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (NO. *) ORDER 201*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that trie Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make the above-mentioned Order.



2. The general effect of the 'Free Parking Places' Order would be to: -



(a) designate a parking place on the carriageway at the location listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice, in which vehicles authorised by the 'Disabled Persons' Order may be left for any period without charge;



(b) provide that the parking place would operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;



(c) specify, in respect of the parking place, that vehicles displaying in the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;



(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait in the parking place in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc;



(e) revoke the disabled persons parking place at the location listed in Schedule 2 to this notice.



3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including plans which indicate the lengths of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.



4. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively e-mail trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/DPPP25, no later than 18 January 2019.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON PROPOSED RAISED TABLE AND ZEBRA CROSSING INSTALLATION - BUSHEY ROAD, RAYNES PARK

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, intend to:-



(a) introduce a zebra crossing under powers conferred by section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in:-



Bushey Road, Raynes Park, the slip road section outside No. 80 and 82 Bushey Road, the centre point of which would be 4.6 metres south­east of a point opposite the eastern boundary of No. 80 Bushey Road, measured on the south-west side of the said slip road. The "controlled area" in which stopping, waiting and loading is prohibited at all times would apply on both the approach and exit sides of the crossing. The maximum extents of the zig-zag markings would be 18.7 metres either side of the crossing.

(b) introduce a raised table at the above location, under powers conferred by section 90A-F of the Highways Act 1980, so that it extends across the full width of the road, from a point 0.9 metre north-east of a point opposite the eastern boundary of No. 80 Bushey Road, south-eastward for a distance of 11 metres with a height of 75mm and a 1:20 gradient.



2. A plan of the area showing the proposed crossing and its raised table can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Friday at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.



3. 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders.



2. The general effect of the Orders would be to convert sections of existing parking places, in lengths of roads generally fronting the locations referred to in the Schedule to this notice, to single yellow line waiting restrictions matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone operating at each of those locations to facilitate proposed vehicle crossovers.



4. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate trie lengths of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.



5. 1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate electrical utility works in Draxmont, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.



2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed or wait (including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle) in Draxmont, SW19, from a point 51 metres south-east of the southern kerb-line of Wimbledon Hill Road, south-eastward for a distance of 12 metres.



3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



4. Draxmont is a cul-de-sac and vehicular access to properties adjacent to, or south of, the restricted length of road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.



5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



7. The Order would come into force on Monday 14 January 2019 and it is anticipated that works would be carried out over ten days. However, the Order would remain in force for 6 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (EASTFIELDS ROAD AND GROVE ROAD, CR4) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 5) ORDER 2018

1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate essential rail road vehicle (RRV) access and egress at the Eastfields Road level crossing to enable track works, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in Eastfields Road and Grove Road.



2. Whilst the works take place no person will:-



(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait, load or unload in:



(i) Eastfields Road, between its junction with Grove Road and its junction with Rialto Road; and



(ii) Grove Road, from its junction with Eastfields Road south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres; or



(b) enter or proceed in the lengths of road listed in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.



3. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



4. Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of road will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.



5. Pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of road will be maintained at all times.



6. Alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as follows:



(a) for vehicles from Grove Road, via Tamworth Lane, Cedars Avenue, Commonside East, Upper Green East, London Road, Raleigh Gardens, Holborn Way, London Road, Lock's Lane and Eastfields Road;



(b) for vehicles from Eastfields Road, via Lock's Lane, London Road, Upper Green East, Commonside East, Cedar Avenue, Tamworth Lane and Grove Road;



(c) for pedestrians, via the adjacent footbridge.



7. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



8. Nothing in paragraph 2(b) above will apply to persons connected with the execution of the works.



9. The Order will apply from 11 pm on Saturday 5 January 2019 until 4am on Monday 7 January 2019.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

BUSHEY ROAD, RAYNES PARK (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate shared-use footpath widening and associated works in Bushey Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the said road.



2. During the worksi­te) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-



(i) proceed at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour in Bushey Road, the south side westbound lanes, from its junction with Martin Way to its junction with Grand Drive;



(ii) wait, load or unload in the length of Bushey Road, the south side, specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;



(b) no person would proceed or cycle in the footway on the south side of Bushey Road, between its junction with Martin Way and its junction with Grand Drive.

3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.



4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



5. Pedestrians and cyclists affected by the footway closure may proceed via the footway on the north side of Bushey Road.



6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -



(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or



(b) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any person carrying out the works; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



7. The Order would come into force on Monday 7 January 2019 and it is anticipated that works would be carried out over four weeks. However, the Order would remain in force for 6 months should further works be required.
