ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 23 PEDESTRIAN CROSSING & HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTIONS 90A and 90C ROAD HUMP
Relating to Wheatfield Way
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames proposes to make alterations to an existing pedestrian crossing and to introduce speed tables as detailed below:
1. Existing Pedestrian Crossing located at the junction of Wheatfield Way with Fairfield Road to be installed on a speed table with the zig-zag markings for the crossing located 7.4 metres north-east of the north-western kerb line of Lady Booth Road extending north-eastwards for a distance of 40.3 metres.
2. Install speed tables in Wheatfield Way:
(a) located 10.1 metres south west of the south-western kerb line of Ashdown Road extending south-westwards in Wheatfield Way for 34.7 metres;
(b) at its junction and extending into Brook Street and Clarence Street;
(c) at its junction with Lady Booth Road.
3. Install speed table in Fairfield Road close to its junction with Wheatfield Way.
The proposed nature and dimensions of the speed tables are full carriageway width and with a gradient of 1:20 throughout.
Further details of the proposals are shown on plans which may be inspected between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until 31st August 2018 at the reception area of Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU.
