ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Bessant Drive, Kew

(Reference 17/166)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate construction of a speed table, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Bessant Drive, Kew.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Bessant Drive from the northern side of the mini roundabout to the end of the access road leading to the National Archive, Kew.



3. The order will come into effect on 7 October 2017. The restrictions will be in force from noon on 7 October 2017 until 2pm on 9 October 2017 whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via through the Taylor Wimpey development site.



5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cambridge Park, east to west arm and south-west to north-east arm.



5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTIONS 14 (1) and 15(2)

Temporary Road Closure, Waiting Restrictions and Parking Provision Beauchamp Road and Mary's Terrace, Twickenham

(Ref: 17/165)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate construction works to be undertaken



at Twickenham Station, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce restrictions to traffic in Beauchamp Road and Mary's Terrace, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place,



(a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Mary's Terrace from a point at the rear of No 70 London Road to a point on the south-western side of the London Road bridge;



(b) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand at any time in Mary's Terrace from a point outside the common boundary of Nos 1 and 2 Mary's Terrace to a point 15.5 metres north-west of a point opposite the north-west facing wall of Nos 17 and 19 Beauchamp Road;



(c) the existing permit parking places sited on Marys Terrace 12 metres south-west of the south-western boundary wall of 16 Mary's Terrace, south-westwards for a distance of 10 metres will be converted to residents only parking places and re-positioned.



3. The order will come into effect on 2 October 2017. The Order will be in force at all times from 2 October 2017 until 30 June 2020 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. The Council is satisfied that the works will take longer than 18 months and the Council shall revoke the order when the works are completed if earlier than 30 June 2020.



4. Nothing in this Order will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure and Footpath Closure Ducks Walk, Twickenham and Park House Gardens, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical cabling works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Ducks Walk and Park House Gardens, Twickenham.



2. Whilst the works take place,



(a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to, proceed in Park House Gardens from its junction with Ducks Walk to a point outside the common boundary of Nos 54/56 Park House Gardens, local access will be maintained when possible;



(b) no person shall proceed in Ducks Walk between its junction with Park House Gardens and a point outside No 8A Ducks Walk, Twickenham.



3. The order will come into effect on 2 October 2017. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 2 October 2017 until 6 October 2017 whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 6 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



5. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

Temporary Road Closure Grosvenor Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water utility works, they intend to make



a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Grosvenor Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or exit Grosvenor Road, Twickenham at its junction with Holly Road



3. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Holly Road, Queens Road, Station Yard and Grosvenor Road.



4. The order will come into effect on 7 October 2017. The restrictions will be in force between 9.00am and 1.00pm on 7 October 2017 only whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Bushy Park Road, Teddington

(Reference 17/163)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a telecom mast installation, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Bushy Park Road, Teddington.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Bushy Road, from its junction with Kingston Road to a point outside the south-western boundary of No 1 The Pavement, Bushy Park Road.



3. The order will come into effect on 21 October 2017. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 21 October 2017 until 28 October 2017 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for



a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via St Marks Road, Fairfax Road and Kingston Road.



5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



6. Nothing in the Order applies to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 201* DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH (Reference 17/169)

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order

is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and to discontinue a number of parking places previously provided where the demand for such bays no longer exists.

The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons' vehicles, operating "at any time" in the following streets:

Addison Road, Teddington; Bishops Grove, Hampton; Christchurch Road, East Sheen; Church Road, Teddington; Cobbett Road, Twickenham; Fielding Avenue, Twickenham; Haliburton Road, Twickenham; Lyric Road, Barnes;

Marchmont Road, Richmond; Oldfield Road, Hampton; Onslow Avenue, Richmond; Railway Road, Teddington; The Crescent, Barnes; Thompson Avenue, Kew (2 Bays); Vincam Close, Twickenham; and Washington Road, Barnes.

Temporary Road Closure Cambridge Park, Twickenham

(Reference 17/161)

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they have a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Cambridge Park, Twickenham.

Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cambridge Park, between the north-western kerb-line of Vivienne Close and the south-eastern kerb-line of Cambridge Park (south-west to north-east arm).
