THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF KINDERSLEY WAY, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Kindersley Way, Abbots Langley from its junction with Abbots Road south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Gallows Hill Lane (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 776 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via Abbots Road, Gallows Hill and Gallows Hill Lane. The Order is needed because highway repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 October 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HIGH STREET, RICKMANSWORTH AND A411 CHALK HILL, OXHEY) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:- 1. that length of High Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with Northway north westwards to its junction with Station Road, a distance of approximately 190 metres. An alternative route will be via Church Street, A404 Riverside Drive, Wensum Way and High Street. 2. the westbound carriageway of A411 Chalk Hill, Oxhey from its junction with Villiers Road westwards to its junction with A4008 Aldenham Road, a distance of approximately 72 metres. An alternative route will be via A411 (Chalk Hill/London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne/ Elstree Road), A41 (Tylers Way/Elton Way/North Western Avenue), A4008 Stephenson Way and A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill). The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 October 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A411 LOWER HIGH STREET, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of A411 Lower High Street, Watford from its junction with A411 Waterfields Way south eastwards to its junction with the A4125 Eastbury Road/A411 Chalk Hill roundabout (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 361 metres, except for access. An alternative southbound route will be via A411 (Waterfields Way/Beechen Grove/ Exchange Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Deacons Hill) and A4125 Eastbury Road An alternative northbound route will be via A4125 Eastbury Road, A4178 (Deacons Hill/ Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road/Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road), A4145 Vicarage Road and A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove/Waterfields Way). The Order is needed because highway improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 October 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN CARPENDERS PARK, CROXLEY GREEN, MOOR PARK, NORTHWOOD, OXHEY HALL, WATFORD AND BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Hangar Ruding, Carpenders Park from its westernmost junction with Leigh Rodd southwards, westwards, north eastwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Leigh Rodd, Carpenders Park from its junction with Foxleys south eastwards and north eastwards to its easternmost junction with Hangar Ruding, a distance of approximately 247 metres. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Dover Way, Croxley Green from its junction with Links Way westwards to its junction with Durrants Drive, a distance of approximately 266 metres. An alternative route will be via Links Way, Ludlow Way and Durrants Drive.
4. that length of Dulwich Way, Croxley Green from its junction with Fuller Way northwards and north westwards to its junction with Owens Way, a distance of approximately 253 metres. An alternative route will be via Fuller Way, Repton Way and Owens Way.
5. that length of Grosvenor Road, Moor Park from its junction with Davenham Avenue eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Parkside Road, a distance of approximately 174 metres. An alternative route will be via Davenham Avenue, Eastbury Avenue, Wellesley Avenue and Grosvenor Road.
6. that length of Main Avenue, Moor Park from its junction with Pembroke Road north eastwards to its junction with Wolsey Road, a distance of approximately 315 metres. An alternative route will be via Pembroke Road, Astons Road, Thornhill Road, Bedford Road and Wolsey Road.
7. that length of Shelley Close, Northwood from its junction with Davenham Avenue north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
8. that length of St Francis Close, Oxhey Hall from its junction with Oaklands Avenue north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. that length of Harvest End, Watford from its junction with York Way south westwards and north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 10. that length of Phillipers, Watford from its junction with The Gossamers south westwards, eastwards, clockwise and south westwards for its entire length. An alternative route will be via The Gossamers and York Way.
11. that length of Tibbles Close, Watford from its junction with Phillipers south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 12. that length of York Way, Watford from its junction with Westlea Avenue westwards and north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. 13. that length of Cardinal Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with Hillside Avenue north westwards to its junction with B5378 Shenley Road, a distance of approximately 475 metres. An alternative route will be via Hillside Avenue, Furzehill Road and B5378 Shenley Road.
14. that length of Hillside Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with Furzehill Road north eastwards and eastwards to its junction with Bullhead Road, a distance of approximately 792 metres. An alternative route will be via Furzehill Road, Arundel Drive, Thornbury Gardens and Bullhead Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 October 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
