THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (PARKING PLACES) (COACH BAYS) (No. 1) ORDER 2021

LONSDALE ROAD, BARNES SUFFOLK ROAD, BARNES
(Reference 21/075)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 11 August 2021 made the above Orders under section 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders is to:-

(a) introduce 9 metres of double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") on the north-western side of Lonsdale Road, adjacent to the entrance to the Swedish School;

(b) extend the double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in Suffolk Road at the junction with Lonsdale Road by

17 metres in a south-easterly direction;
(c) introduce a coach bay outside the Harrodian School operating on Mondays to Fridays inclusive between 8am and 4.30pm with a maximum stay of 1 hour, no return within 1 hour; and

(d) make certain amendments to parking places to reflect the installation of waiting restrictions and bus stand on north west side of Lonsdale Road (adjacent to Nos. 81-101 Lonsdale Road)

3. The provisions of these Orders will be revoked at such a time as they are no longer required.

4. Copies of the Orders, which come to force on 16 August 2021, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 21/075, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices



5. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (PARKING PLACES) (CENTRAL TWICKENHAM) (AMENDMENT No. 23) ORDER 2021 GROTTO ROAD, TWICKENHAM

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 11 August 2021 made the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the One Way Streets Order will be to introduce one way working in Grotto Road the effect being that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Grotto Road other than in a direction from east to west.

3. The general effects of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment Order will be to introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") at the junctions of Grotto Road and Cross Deep and at the junctions of Grotto Road and Radnor Road.

4. The general effects of the Parking Places Order will be to introduce a shared use parking bay, operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays for permit holders, and with a 1 hour maximum stay for pay by phone users.

5. Copies of the Orders, which come into force on 16 August 2021 a plan showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders:-

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 21/089 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Waiting Restriciton Niton Road, Richmond
(Reference 21/125)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a petrol station refurbishment they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Niton Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Niton Road outside the Shell Petrol Station. On the eastern side from a point 10 metres north of the norther kerb-line of Lower Richmond Road, northwards for a distance of 20 metres. On the western side from a point 11 metres north of the northern kerb-line of Lower Richmond Road to a point outside the common boundary of Nos 5 and 7 Niton Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 23 August 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 23 August 2021 until 21 February 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure North Worple Way, Mortlake

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate an electrical connection they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in North Worple Way, Mortlake.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in North Worple Way between its junctions with Alder Way and Victoria Road..

3. The order will come into effect on 26 August 2021. The restrictions will be in force between 07.00 and 18.00 on 26 August 2021 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Alder Road, Sheen Lane, Mortlake High Street back down to Avondale Road and North Worple Way and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)

Temporary Road Closure Paradise Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water utility survey works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Paradise Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Paradise Road from its junction with Eton Street to a point outside No 32 Paradise Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 17 August 2021. The restrictions will be in force between 20:00 and 23:59 on 17 August 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Sheen Road and Eton Street.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
