Temporary Footpath Closure PROW 147 - Albany Passage
(Reference 21 /003)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a gas connection, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary closure of PROW 147 - Albany Passage.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall proceed in PROW 147 between the northern kerb-line of Marchmont Road, northwards for a distance of 20 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 5 January 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 5 January 2021 until 11 January 2021 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 6 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for anyone affected by the closure will be available via Audley Road, Kings Road and Marchmont Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary Restrictions Evelyn Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate development works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary restriction of traffic in Evelyn Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place,

(a) Two-way working will be permitted in Evelyn Road between its junction with Kew Foot Road and the entrance to the Richmond Royal Hospital site;
(b) No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the parking bays on the south-western side of Evelyn Road between its junction with Kew Foot Road and the north-eastern kerb-line of the entrance to the Richmond Royal Hospital site.
3. The order will come into effect on 4 January 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 4 January 2021 until 4 October 2021 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Parking Suspension Marlborough Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works and to site a welfare unit they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a parking suspension in Marlborough Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the four permit bays sited outside Nos 20-22 Marlborough Road.

3. The Order will come into effect on 4 January 2021. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 4 January 2021 until 12 February 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (PARKING PLACES) (SUPPLEMENTARY PROVIOSNS) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 202*
(Reference 20/162)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The objective of the Order is to include in CPZ orders the provision that where the council in granting a planning permission for a property has either put a condition on the planning permission, or in a Section 106 Agreement removing the ability to apply for or obtain a parking permit, that any such application for a permit will not be granted.

3. Copies of the proposed Order and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 20/162 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection.
