Team Endeavour from St Paul's School in Barnes, with their innovative product: Flavourz, "The World's Only Flavoured Pencil", has reached the Young Enterprise Company Programme London Final the hard way.

This year 30 companies took part in the Richmond & Kingston Area and Endeavour managed to get through the fiercely competitive Preliminary finals to compete against 7 other school and college companies in the local Area Final at Hampton School. Here they beat off keen competition to qualify along with Alpha from Tiffin Girls’ School for the South London Final.

At this Regional Final, held at Trinity School in Croydon, against schools from other South London Area Boards, they scooped the award for Most Innovative Product and the coveted Debbie Knight Trophy for Best Overall Company.

Bracey Parish, the YE Manager for South West London, said, “Amidst awesomely strong competition in this traditionally powerful and quality packed area in South West London, Team Endeavour prevailed to qualify for the South London Final. Just to get through this initial stage is a fantastic achievement and they now take with them all the best wishes of the YE South London team and large number of supporters (including the reigning European Champions Summit) to the London Final.”
