Congratulations to Team Endeavour from St Pauls School in Barnes, who are through to the South London finals of this year’s Young Enterprise competition, with their unique product “Flavourz”, the world’s only flavoured pencil – for those who often find themselves chewing the end of a pencil at work or in class, imagine a cap that tastes of strawberry, orange or mint, instead of just wood! The 17 year olds not only designed the product from scratch, overseeing its manufacture in Britain, but have also taken care of the other aspects of running a business, from marketing to finance and tax – and all while studying for their A-levels. We wish them the best for the rest of the competition, which could take them as far as Bucharest for the European finals later this summer.
