The latest buzz arrives in Richmond!

Richmond is a-buzz with anticipation at the arrival of the ‘Bee Friends’ road show at the Richmond Revital store.

On 26th October experts on all things bee will be on hand at the store to talk about the fascinating world of the honeybee and the plethora of wonderful health and beauty products made thanks to these industrious insects.

With the honeybee in decline, the ‘Bee Friends’ road show aims to highlight the plight of the honey bee and highlight their importance in a whole range of products as well as their role in the environment.

You will learn about the life of the bee and how these clever creatures create honey, and how this is then used in so many other products and will also be shown how to encourage bees to come into their gardens.

Sanjay Patel at Revital commented, ‘The honey bee is one of the most hard working and ecologically important creatures in the world. Without these wonderful little workers it has been said that the human race would go extinct in 4 years due to their essential role as pollinators.

‘In the last few years we have come to understand more about the fantastic properties found in honey bee products, ranging from propolis for immune function, local honey for hay fever, bee venom as a natural Botox and royal jelly for anti ageing'.

So why not come along and find out more about the clever honeybee?

Leanne Combrinck, marketing manager at Nu Vitality Products, a key supporter of the road shows, commented, ‘In recent years there has been a surge of new and exciting products on the market harnessing the power of the honey bee. Our range of functional honeys are a great example of these new innovations, with each product specially formulated to give a specific health benefit through feeding the bees a special diet of herbs, the active properties of which are then transferred to the honey they produce. By getting involved in the road shows we hope to highlight just how versatile honey bee products can be, and how essential bees are to our wellbeing.’ So why not come along and find out more about the clever honeybee?

The ‘Bee Friends’ road show will be in town on 26th October at Richmond Revital store (Quadrant House).
