By Community Correspondent Angie Ahmed, If you are looking for something to do now that the kids are back at school, local family charity Home-Start Richmond may have the answer. Their new free training course starts on 19th January in East Sheen and runs on Tuesdays during school hours.
Local people with parenting experience who have a few hours spare each week can be trained to support parents with young children who live in the Richmond area and are experiencing difficulties such as post-natal depression, disability and loneliness.
Bookings for places on the next course are being taken now. Courses run three times a year, starting in January, April and September. For further information, please contact Julie Papworth on 020 8487 8500 or info@homestart-richmond.org.uk or visit www.homestart-richmond.org.uk.
