St John the Baptist CE Junior school in Hampton Wick recently combined charity fundraising for the Grenfell Tower charity along with a celebration of ‘St John the Baptist’s Day’. At this stage, the donations received has reached almost £500, but the school is still accepting donations.
The 286 pupils were treated to a 30 foot waterslide on Tuesday 27th June, which they enjoyed immensely! St John’s day is marked annually with an activity and this year took advantage of the great weather we’ve been having.
The School took this opportunity to ask pupils and their parents to consider those less fortunate and asked for donations to be made for those affected by the Grenfell Tower incident.
