The Falcons School for Boys Preparatory Parents Association hosted a Caribbean themed fair at the Richmond Athletic Ground to bring the school community together to celebrate the end of another great academic year.

The event was a huge success with many Caribbean themed surprises including a carnival steel band and a sunny island themed barbeque. Amongst the entertainment was of course the familiar favourites, a coconut shy, a tombola, giant inflatables, as well as arcade driver consoles, selfie mirrors, golf simulator competitions and much more.

The action-packed day was made extra special thanks to sponsors Bandai Nameco, Venatour and Duke Meadows whose donations went towards the fun attractions and of course the Richmond Athletic Ground which kindly donated the space for the day.

The school’s chosen charity Wooden Spoon, which uses rugby to help transform the lives of young people with disabilities or who are disadvantaged across the UK, was also on hand with a bus and mascot to show what the boy’s fundraising efforts have achieved this year.

Chairwoman of the Parents Association, Amina Appiah Lewis commented: “It was a fantastic event and everyone had a lot of fun. The Falcons PA is incredibly grateful for all the support of our parents, boys and teachers and of course sponsors who have worked very hard this year.”
