Richmond is known for being the Yoga and wellbeing hub for South West London- home to many famous Yoga studios, healthy food cafes and wellness centres. Now the borough is getting ready to host a unique Asian festival with a focus on wellbeing and vegan food.

The event is scheduled to take place at Richmond Adult Community College on July 29th. The festival promises all-day Yoga, tai chi, qi gong sessions, healthy vegan cookery demos, stalls, Asian vegan cuisine, art workshops, Bollywood dancing and much more. Yoga studios and Tai chi schools, based in Richmond, are participating in the event.

The event is also a fundraiser for three charities - one of them being the Mayor of Richmond's charity. The Mayor is also expected to attend the event.

The festival is being organized by Yogific, a community organisation that runs similar events across UK. Kriti Sachdeva, fouder of Yogific tells, "There is something for everyone at this festival - you can join all-day Yoga and Tai chi sessions, watch dance performances, learn Asian art, dancing and cooking by participating in various workshops, or enjoy yummy Asian food on offer. From Indian and Sri Lankan food to Japanese Maki rolls and Thai food; and from Chinese vegan hoisin duck to lebanese falafels - you treat your tastebuds to the different flavors of Asian food. The festival is aimed at celebrating Asian culture whilst focussing on the vegan and wellbeing aspect.

"We are proud to announce Karan's Bollywood Masterclass are the official entertainment partner of the event. We are very pleased to support such a diverse and cultural event in the heart of Richmond.
