Richmond mum of three, Susie Weaver, has just been announced as a finalist in the prestigious 2017 Brilliance in Blogging Awards (The BiBs) in the Fresh Voice category. Her blog, So Happy In Town, is a lifestyle and parenting blog highlighting the highs and lows of family life in town.
Thousands of votes were cast across 11 categories for the awards, which are organised by BritMums. BritMums is the UK’s largest and most influential collective of lifestyle bloggers and social influencers. The BiBs ceremony will be held at the BritMums Live 2017 conference on Saturday 30 September 2017 with a glamorous City Cruises Party.
Susie started the blog (www.sohappyintown.com) in January this year as she wanted to highlight the rollercoaster ride of parenting in areas such as Richmond. As she says:
“I found myself often thinking that I must write these funny anecdotes down that my friends and I would share about our kids. I like to raise awareness of more serious issues too so that parents know they're not alone. I'm very excited to make the finals of the BiBs - that's a huge honour."
