My two Aspergers children (10 and 6), wanted to go and share ice lollies at Grenfell Tower. In the picture, they are building a complex architecture castle out of lego with the local community children and moving mountains.
Following our visit to Grenfell and sharing of the news, Holy Trinity COE Primary School will donate all funds from our PTA organised Summer Festival to the Grenfell fund. In addition, our children are doing their own fundraiser with a loom band stand after school on Friday, 23rd June 2017. Well done children and parents alike.
Please come and support us at both events.
We hope this tragedy will be a catalyst for transforming our city and local communities, particularly demystifying the poor background families and parents, and allow for all of us to get a glimpse of how much of a blessing it is to be part of a place where the poor rub shoulders with the affluent, and races, colours and religions come together and share talent and resources.
