Eight yours ago I spent a week in Aleppo as I wanted to visit and draw this ancient city. Historic and ancient, part medieval busy and full of life, I was welcomed by everyone I met and fascinated by the city.
The work I did there, together with drawings from Damascus and Iran is now being shown in an exhibition at the Fountain Gallery, East Molesey (very near Hampton Court).
