It’s not every day a tiny craft business gets to dress one of the biggest names in British politics, but that’s exactly what happened recently to local fashion designer Emilie Lhoste.

Emilie, who comes from France and now lives in Twickenham with her family, runs her small fashion business, Louison D’Or, from her home, lovingly hand-making bags and accessories.

So no wonder her surprise when she noticed that one of her designs was being worn by Prime Minister Theresa May at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The eye-catching faux fur neck warmer was sported by Mrs May as she addressed the media on her visit.

Emilie said: "I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was such a surprise and a great honour. My business is small and to have the support of such a well known figure is a great boost for me."
