Richmond Citizens Advice Bureau is delighted to announce that the Right Honourable Sir Vince Cable has agreed to be our patron from January 2017.

Sir Vince was MP for Twickenham from 1997 to 2015 and served as Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills and President of the Board of Trade under the coalition government (2010-2015).

Sir Vince said “I am happy to accept the offer to be the patron of such a vital local charity. In these tough, uncertain times, it’s good to know that local people can rely on their advice.”

Richmond Citizens Advice Bureau Chief Executive, Simon Lawson, said “Our volunteers and staff work very hard to offer people in Richmond help and advice, so the appointment of Sir Vince as our patron gives them well deserved recognition.”
