Please can you highlight this on your web site to try to save more dogs being killed this weekend?

This morning, a woman's dog was attacked by deer protecting their young in Richmond Park. The woman apparently called police to complain the deer were at fault as she could see no babies! How stupid can you be?

The Royal Parks always issue press releases about this time. There are notices all round Richmond & Busy Parks, warning people to keep well away from deer. In fact, the press release usually advises people to keep dogs OUT of their parks at this time.

A dog was reported to have been killed in Richmond Park on Wednesday, trampled by female deer.

There's reports of a woman being cornered and threatened by deer the same day, with two hefty guys going to her aid. They got her away safely but one of them fell while escaping and suffered a gash from debris on the ground. Deer allowed the injured man to leave without further intervention.

My dog & I have been 'escorted off their territory' twice this week by belligerent female deer. I'm experienced enough to see the signs early and take evasive action immediately.
