Richmond family the Rushby's will be taking on a big adventure challenge at the end of May. They will be attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge, getting up and down the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. Parents Mail and Phil will be joined by boys James (10) and Daniel (8). If successful, they believe that Daniel will be the youngest person to have achieved this feat.

Mum and Dad have always enjoyed adventure challenges, but now their boys are keen to join in and this is the first big test they have taken on together. The team is completed by Grandad Keith, who will be doing the driving.

The family are raising funds for two causes that are important to them, including one that is local to Richmond - the Vineyard Community Centre.

Their other charity is the National Eczema Society, chosen because this is a condition that has affected several members of their family.

They have had great support already, with more than £2k raised to date. But they have an ambitious target of raising £10k and would welcome all donations. The link to their fund-raising site is : http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/FamilyRushby Based on information supplied by Phil & Maia Rushby.
