In Roehampton we Ahmadi women have had the opportunity to celebrate neighbours day in which many other ladies regardless of race or religion were invited.
A brief introduction about the etiquettes of neighbours and the importance of brotherhood were given. This was followed by refreshments, free gifts and free henna application on the hands.
Another voluntary contribution by the Roehampton ahmadiya ladies was the making of lunch which was severed to the staff of Co Operative local store, a local charity shop, a pharmacy, Pocklington Court (who take care of the visually impaired). The lunch consisted of chicken biryani.
The ladies if our community also offer to help at their children's local schools in festivals including harvest Christmas and Easter.
