Church housing?!

Sir,-It is about time that the Richmond Churches Housing Trust dropped the word churches from their title.

This social landlord now has absolutely no connection with the churches of Richmond. Their present title gives the impression of a benevolent organisation flowing with the milk of human kindness'.

No so, a number of elderly Hampton residents, living in property owned by the above, are faced with the threat of losing their chosen homes and are suffering a period of great anxiety and uncertainty at a time when they least need it.

This sort of thing, when people are unaware of the facts, also reflects unfairly on the churches.-Mrs E A Panariello, Morland Close, Hampton.
