By Community Correspondent Lucy F. J. Pope It appears that there is no other place to be but Teddington this Summer Season; The Landmark Arts Center, situated opposite Teddington Loch, Summer Season begun in April and runs right up until the 18th of July with the intriguingly named 'Summer Sunday Surprise'.
Activities left in this month range from a variety of children's activities (Art Club, Dance and Drama workshop, Sculpture course, Animation course and a touring drama company), the Midsummer Art Fair, and music evenings with twice nominated BBC Jazz Artist Of The Year, Ray Gelato. With fans including Jools Holland and Paul McCartney, Gelato shall be performing with his jazz troupe Ray Gelato Giants on the 11th of June. Violinist Sulki Yu shall also be taking the stage with Thames Philharmonia on the 26th of June.
Described as the "season highlight", comedian Barry Cryer will perform on the 1st of July. Named "Still Alive", Cryer shall be walking down memory lane, filling the evening with jokes, songs and stories. This is truly a fantastic season; something definitely not to be missed.
