On 6th May 2010, a group of students from Stagecoach Richmond, including myself, went to Richmond theatre to see the remaining Dorothys sing with the hopeful Totos from the popular BBC show: "Over the Rainbow".
At 5pm, I turned up at Richmond theatre expecting a few people to be waiting outside; however, I was stunned to see not only my stagecoach, but about one hundred and fifty children lined up outside and down the road with camera crews and an interviewer. I suddenly became quite excited although I knew they probably wouldn't want to interview me, seeing as though they initially only wanted younger children to go.
When we eventually got inside after a lot of takes of all of us screaming with excitement, we went inside the theatre and we were seated at the front in the stalls where the nations' Nancy, Jodie Prenger, one of the judges, told us the process of the evening.
As I am a big fan of the show, I was very excited to see the Dorothys perform live. After they had performed, we had to vote for the dog we thought was the best.
After the winner had been announced we were able to talk to the Dorothys for a brief minute; it was very interesting meeting them and asking them what kind of an impact the show had made on their lives. It was such an exciting evening; I had an amazing time.
