No not an Ikea wardrobe but a capsule wardrobe! A capsule wardrobe is a fully functioning, working wardrobe, where the contents reflect your lifestyle. If you spend 70 per cent of your week working, then 70 per cent of the content should be made up of work clothes.
This may seem like common sense to the majority of you. However there are literally thousands of women who possess not one, not two, but five or six pairs of jeans, when the majority of their week is spent wearing smart work clothes!
So make sure the contents are proportional to how you spend your week. You do not need to have rails of clothes, just buy clothes that you can mix and match. Outfits can be dressed up or down with the use of accessories, such as jewellery and shoes. Building a fully functioning, working wardrobe doesn’t have to be expensive; it is about thinking about what items are needed to pull existing items of clothing together.
