British science week encourages a new group of future scientist, which provide a platform to support teachers, STEM professionals, science communicators and the general public to produce and participate in STEM events and activities.

British science week is between 9th and the 18th of March, British Science week is set up by the British Science Association which helps providing free activity and support resources to schools. British science week explores science, technology, engineering and maths, featuring entertaining and engaging events and activities across the UK for people of all ages.

British science week has been celebrated in schools such as Norbury manor business and enterprise college for girls where there has been numerous experiments done throughout the week which include: the coke and mentos experiment and a lung dissection. These simple experiments have opened the mind of future scientist.

British science week has overall inspired a new generation of scientist whilst mourning the death of the greatest, Stephen Hawkings, who sadly died the 14th of March 2018 British science week has overall been a week of celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths and has successfully in opened new minds to more scientific discoveries whilst teaching a new generation the fun in science.
