Technology is the basis of our society these days but what is it actually used for? Is it beneficial? Well, honestly there are two ways this article can go but I’m gonna speak about the impact technology has on our children. This new generation could tell you how to edit a photo and send it through Whatsapp but hardly any of them can tell you any current major headlines in the news. Why is this? Our children are ignorant to life outside their devices. The mindset that they have is that their whole world is inside their smartphones. Technology has developed in such an outstanding way but is it more bad than good? Children’s minds across the UK have been corrupted with apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat; technicians don’t realise that their best discoveries are rotting our youth. They’re the generation we feel will make so many amazing improvements to our society and change the world as we know it but is this possible with the amount of technology surrounding them? Is technology effecting our young ones in negative ways? And if it is, is there any hope for the later generations which will be brought into a world twenty times more advanced?
