Throughout the last few weeks of September year 6's are getting ready to start a new chapter in their lives. They are deciding what secondary school to go to(with the help of their parents of course), and The Green school hosted open tours for those who couldn't attend opening evening.This is a big year for year 6 students; they not only have to decide what secondary school to go to but they have their SAT's coming up in the summer; they need all the support they can get and the The Green School is giving them just that.
Students who already attend The Green School told the new students about their experiences and showed them around. They travelled door to door getting a taste of the classes and teaching quality and even got to meet any possible future classmates. This was an experience designed to enhance and prepare the students for what life win secondary school would be like and this event achieved that goal.
