The International Women’s day falls on the 8th of March, a bank holiday for many countries. It is a day we use to celebrate the support and love which women all around the globe provide but to also identify them as strong independent characters.

Celebrations vary from parades to private parties, on an international scale or local. On that day, people collectively appreciated the achievements of women, around the world.

The theme for 2017 was ‘#beboldforachange’, encouraging girls and women alike to step out of their comfort zone and overcome their fears of confidence or criticism. Studies have shown that many and women in the world today, suffer from anxiety and depression rooting from their lack of self confidence and esteem, therefore it is vital that we celebrate these people and make them feel truly appreciated.

I hope that all of you had a truly inspiring Women’s day, celebrating the strong people that shape our community.
