BLOGGING: A BRIEF GUIDE
A web log, to give the term its full name, is basically a journal available for other people to read on the web.
A blog can be as simple as a diary of what's happening in the writer's life. Or it can be about specific interests, such as sport, technology or showbiz. It can also be a commentary on the latest issues in the news, or a guide to interesting articles and sites the writer has found while browsing the internet.
Blogs are interactive because people reading them are able to add their comments.
The activity is known as blogging and someone who keeps a blog is a blogger. Blogging has become a huge phenomenon on the web and you can join in thanks to Your Local Guardian.

You don't need to be a technical expert – you just send us your blog and we do the rest. You can write your blog using your real name or under a pseudonym if you prefer not to reveal your true identity to the outside world.
