Expo offers Apprentice stars and much, much more
More than 300 people attended the Access Self Storage business expo earlier this month, to learn about enterprise and hear from stars of the Apprentice.
Lord Sugar’s starlets Claire Young and Kimberley Davis, rugby star Gareth Chilcott and the mayor of Richmond made the event, on Wednesday, November 3, one to remember.
There was an early morning networking event, followed by a chance for visitors to meet exhibitors, a three-course lunch, prizes and talks.
Access Self Storage regional manager Gareth Morris said: “Access has maintained strong links with local businesses through its memberships with the chambers of commerce, 4Networking, BNI and other breakfast networking organisations.
“The Access Business Expo was a way for us to be able to give something back to our customers and other businesses both locally and across Greater London.”
The day was capped off by seminars from key speakers, including the Apprentice stars, who shared their experiences with Lord Sugar.
Ms Young said: “The Access Business Expo has received positive feedback, and was an all-round winner.
“Congratulations to Access for putting on such a great event. Long may it continue.”
Attendees were also able to take away advice from top school speaker the Inspirationist, gain tips on using social media to market business with Projectfive’s Steve Coburn, and were able to experience getting ahead with PR success with a talk from Green Publicity Heaven’s Paul Green.
The seminars finished at 4pm, with an educational talk from Gary Morgan at Milestone Training on keeping customers and gaining more sales without spending money.
Elizabeth Walker, director of stallholder Connect Two Promotions, said: “Connect Two Promotions made some high quality and very positive contacts.
“It was one of the best expos we have participated in.”
