Harlequins RL centre David Howell has received a three-match ban after being sent off in the 40-12 defeat at Wigan on Friday night.
The Australian back saw red after striking Sam Tomkins in the face with a combination of forearm and elbow.
Charged with a 'D' illegal tackle which could have seen Howell suspended for up to five games, the RFL came to the decision of three games at a video hearing that took place on Tuesday afternoon.
