Director of rugby Steve Hill hailed Richmond’s best display of the season as they thrashed Fylde 36-0 on Saturday.
Tries from Duncan Peters John Attlee (two), Harison Edwards and a penalty try taught the visitors a lesson and moved Richmond up to sixth in the National Division One table, having won seven of their past nine games.
“This was our best performance of the season,” said Hill before tomorrow’s trip to Loughborough Students.
“To now be sixth in the table and above the likes of Esher looked virtually impossible at Christmas.”
