Harlequins’ festive clash with Leicester Tigers is guaranteed a Guinness Premiership attendance record after ticket sales for the showdown went past 25,000.

The so-called ‘Big Game’ is being held at Twickenham Stadium and more than 70 per cent of all seats are on sale at £10 or less.

The current record for a Guinness Premiership fixture was set by London Irish at their St Patrick’s Day game with Wasps in March this year.
