Richmond’s Fiona Pocock has been named in the 51-strong England Women’s elite player squad for the forthcoming season.
Pocock’s selection takes the number of Richmond players in head coach Simon Middleton’s group to 10.
She is joined in the squad by Alice Richardson, Joanne Watmore, Francesca Matthews, Alexandra Matthews, Emma Croker, Victoria Cornborough, Rowena Burnfield, Natasha Brennan and Claire Allan.
Orleans Park School student Emma Uren, above, has been named in the England U20s squad – two years after first taking up the sport.
