Head coach Justin Burnell will keep rotating his squad – even when the Championship play-offs get under way, writes Stuart Amos.

The exiles have not fielded the same starting 15 twice this season as they have secured a top four finish with three games still to play.

Burnell, who has used nearly 50 players this term, will do the same for clashes with Jersey, Bristol and Nottingham over the closing weeks of the campaign.

And things will not change when it comes to the exiles securing promotion to the Premiership.

“We change seven players every week, I don’t think we’ve played the same 15 all year,” he said.

“To get into the play-offs it has taken 40-odd players and it will be the same process.

“It won’t be the same 15 players for every single Championship game. I’ll change the squad, I can assure you of that.”

He added: “We’re the dark horses. We’ve lost the least games and conceded the least points in the league. We’re a decent little team.”
