London Scottish were nearly handed a shock title boost by events elsewhere in National League One on Saturday.
It took a stoppage-time try from Thomas Cobb to give main rivals Barking a 29-25 win at Launceston, who are in the division’s drop zone. Scottish remain a point ahead of the Essex side, who have a game in hand, after beating Blaydon 38-7 on Saturday.
Lewis Calder (two), Ben MacDougall, David Howells, Tom Standfield and John Bordiss scored tries for the Exiles.
