Scottish stars clear decks ready for Esher challenge

Four London Scottish stars have been selected in the England Counties squad for the spring internationals with Ireland Club XV and France Amateurs.

Prop Matt Johnson, fly-half James Brown, winger David Howells and full-back Frankie Neale are all in the 30-man squad for the clashes in February and March.

Meanwhile, the National Division One title chasers have deployed an army of volunteers - including members of the firs team squa - to clear the Athletic Ground pitch of snow in a bid to ensure Saturday’s crunch clash with league leaders Esher is played.

London Scottish’s next three games: Jan 16 Esher (h), 23 Nuneaton (a), 30 Blaydon (h).
