Witt makes winning start to title defence

Witt Gamski, who works in Cheam, made a winning start to the 2010 Britcar Championships at Brands Hatch on Saturday.

It was a great achievement for team owner Gamski and Keith Robinson, the 2009 champions, who only got their new 430GT3 Ferrari three weeks before the opening race.

Witt said: “The car had to be resprayed in our colours and the engine only arrived from Italy on the Tuesday before the race so its really good result for Team MJC to win.

“Neither me or Keith had driven the new car untill friday morning so we had about 40 minutes each to learn the new car before we raced the following day.”
