July: Harlequins academy number eight Jack Clifford captained England U20s to the junior world title.
August: Twickenham’s Mo Farah added the world 5,000m and 10,000m titles to the Olympic double he secured in London last year.
September: Captain Carlos Nunes smashed 593 league runs as Twickenham finished fourth in the Middlesex County Premier League – ahead of neighbours Richmond and Teddington.
October: Former Hampton School student Max Kretzschmar scored for Wycombe Wanderers in a 1-0 League Two win at Bristol Rovers.
November: Teddington 21-year-old Kieran Leinster preserved his unbeaten Queensbury Boxing League southern area middleweight record with a win over Matt Piper.
December: Brentford saw boss Uwe Rosler leave the club to join Wigan Athletic in the same week plans for a new stadium were given the go ahead.
